Denied Again. But With Dinner
Once again, Skate 2 still has not arrived, but at least there was a dinner (at a restaurant right across the street from the MuchMusic building!) with more nerds (this time attempting to pose as illustrators until one fatal “I got RROD on my Xbox 360″ comment undid all their efforts to appear normal and gamer-nerdiness erupted full force) and it was generally pleasant as always. It’s still a bit weird to me despite having already been married a few years; I just got it so burned into my brain that I was loser-single-odd-man-out guy when it came to these get togethers, and now when I show up, I’m part of a couple and as far as these folks are concerned, I’ve ALWAYS been part of a couple, rather than wanting to hurl invectives at two people comfortably sitting together spending their lives with each other.
Still a weird place to be in my head. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.

You don’t WANT to get used to it. Then you take it for granted and not long after that, you’re single again. LOL
In my Toronto days, the restaurants across from MM were mostly Thai and East Indian options, although you could wander west down Queen a bit to the Queen Mum too or east to a whole host of bars/restaurants. Mmmm… Spadina Chinese… Shanghai Cowgirl… Korean Village Family Restaurant…
Yup, you could eat good in Toronto!
