Hands In Recovery

A quick follow up visit to the doctor shows that my hands are healing up all right.  What they were healing up from is some form of eczema (a skin disorder) which apparently has no known cause as of this time.  It’s nothing crippling, but for a while there my hands were not a pretty looking sight.  Also incredibly itchy.  All of this is mostly cleared up now, but I’m told I can probably expect flare ups from time to time.  For no apparent reason,  much like this time, and, apparently, those occasions in Singapore when it first started up, although at the time I hadn’t consulted a dermatologist to tell me exactly what was going on.

    Now hurry up and buy and play WET, so I can find out if it’s worth my time.

    Actually, the plan is that if I play Wet at all, it’s going to be on massive discount. The game’s been reviewing pretty universally low and too many of those reviews are citing the same pros and cons. On the pro side, it’s got a nice 70′s exploitation, grind house flavor to it (though opinions vary on whether that’s a good thing, taste depending) but the cons are the controls are wonky, the game is uneven, and it gets too repetitive. Basically, the final verdict is it’s a Just Okay game, which to me, isn’t worth $60. Now finding it for $30 or less on the other hand, that’s not too bad.
