Hobnobbing

At the Canzine Artcade, a little room tucked away in the Gladstone Hotel where indie gamers stuffed a few of their games into, I am told, an re-furbed cabinet from an Italian Centipede knock-off.  Met other geeks.  Ate geek food at a 24 hour diner.  Talked about geek stuff.  Fun had by all.

  • Speaking as a geek and a “foodie”, I’m curious as to what actually constitutes “geek food”. Perhaps there’s a cookbook in it….

  • I don’t know if the traditional Nerd/Geek and “Foodie” can actually happily co-exist. Typical geek food is… well… you know, low brow and bad for you. Milkshakes, poutine, burgers, pizza, that kind of thing. Not exactly a Sushi Walk on Bloor…
