With Halo 3 out of the way and still not repaired PS3, it’s time to return to Deadly Premonition, which is essentially “Twin Peaks: The Videogame.”

Finally getting around to sitting down and playing Halo 3, which is something I really should do, since it got dropped on me that I’ll be reviewing Halo: Reach.
And It’s Away
Amazingly enough, the Sony people were happy to take the dying PS3 and see to it that it gets repaired, rather than replaced. Nothing to do but wait now.
Pulling Strings
Time to go the rather unorthodox route of contacting people I know at Sony Canada and seeing if they can help with this problem.
Official Channels
I guess I’ll have to ship the PS3 off to Sony’s authorized repair center and hope for the best. With any luck, they’ll repair–rather than replace–the console, as a replacement still nets me a loss of my Rock Band data. I’ll have to look into this over the next few days.

The PS3 has died once more, this time instead of needing a replacement of its Blu-Ray drive, I think what’s happened is something referred to as the Yellow Light of Death. Fortunately there’s a repair shop in the area, so I’ll probably just bring it down tomorrow and see if they can do something with [...]
