Bio
Wayne Santos got his first taste of life as a paid writer when his short story Empty Interiors was first published in the Canadian speculative fiction magazine, On Spec in 1996.
He found out about his first sale and received his check while he was teaching English in Bangkok, Thailand after graduating from university. From there he went on to Singapore where he would spend just a little over 10 years plying his trade. In that time, he worked as an advertising copywriter, a freelance writer, a television scriptwriter, producer and director, and a game journalist, sometimes all of them at once. He also wrote three novels, and has been interviewed by BBC television and radio for as a professional observer of the games industry.
Along with his wife, he now calls Toronto home and continues to seek interesting work to explore, while contributing to other projects he can’t yet talk about.
