Baffling But Cool Lunches

Sat around today enjoying dim sum with Mike Carey and his wife.  I’m still trying to figure out exactly how that happened.  If nothing else, it reminded me I really need to finish up those writing projects.

Yay, Comics

Was talking to some of the Wife’s friends and got a few offers to collaborate on some comics.  This should be interesting.

Make Mine Marv

Marv Wolfman, that is.  Interviewed him today for a feature on DC Universe Online. Also got the full retail game in, so it’s time to sit down and do some serious grinding for the review.

Interviews & Dead Mice

TCAF kept us busy.  The Wife was supposed to go down and do illustrations for kids at the request of Owl Magazine for whom she’s heavily contributed illustrations.  I had to go down to interview Scott Campbell.  Not a house-hold name, but anyone that’s played Psychonauts or Brutal Legend has Scott to blame for the unique art direction, since he’s the Double Fine Art Director.  TCAF was also very different this year since there were actually people at the tables that we knew, so there were friends to visit and talk to amongst the ridiculous level of talent on display.

And, we returned home to find a dead mouse had been neatly deposited at the base of our fan.  I have no idea where the mouse came from, or if there are more, but apparently two cats in the house were far more than the poor bastard could reasonably deal with.
