Not Your Grandfather’s MMO

Because your grandfather probably plays World of Warcraft, and this is nothing like that.  So far I like it, and I like the fact that for the most part, they actually managed to make this playable on a Playstation Dualshock 3.  You might not think it at first, but there is, in fact, a HUGE world of difference between playing an MMO at your desk, on a computer, and playing one on the couch in front of a TV.  I hadn’t thought it would have that much impact, but surprisingly it does.

Welcome To Copyright Infringement

So after the successful download of the client for DC Universe Online, The Wife, staring at the character creation system had the vast array of the entire DC pantheon of heroes to inspire the creation of her heroine.

Again With The Grind

Got word that press access to DC Universe Online for the PS3 is in bound tomorrow.  I have to admit, I’m curious whether they can make this work on a PS3.

Well, that didn’t take very long.  Final impression; Tron is a good game, but not a great one.  However, by movie game standards, it’s pretty amazing.

Warriors Of Rock

Is not rocking me.  I’ve still got my traditional issue with the songs being “over charted” with non-existent notes being included for the sake of tripping up fingers and inflating difficulty, and obviously, it’s a bit weird playing piano parts on Bohemian Rhapsody when Rock Band 3 has a keyboard now…
