Work & Surprise
The summit is now over, but the Wife decided she wanted to see Montreal for herself and arrived on the train today. Looks like I won’t be going back to Toronto so soon after all.
And We’re Off
Heading down to airport tonight… technically tomorrow morning, for the super early flight to San Francisco.
The Return
It is good to be back. New York may be the city of our time, but there’s still something to be said for the intensely naive earnestness of Toronto.
More Old Friends
Did the Central Park thing, had a hot dog, even made the pilgrimage to the Guggenheim. Also hung out with an old friend from Singapore who is now living and working in Manhattan. It’s moments like this that weird me out, sitting in New York restaurants talking about The Old Days, which consist of a lot of globe trotting and crazy stories. Never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have those to tell.
Needs More Hookers
Times Square without hookers and drug dealers just seems… wrong. On the other hand, the Museum of Modern Art is still as high brow as ever, and there are way, way, waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many ads for Call of Duty: Black Ops all over the city.
